As the founder and early leader of the Italian Communist Party，Antonio Gramsci creatively put forward a distinctive thoughts of cultural hegemony on the basis of inheriting Marxism Leninism and summarizing the experience of Italian socialist practice and international communist movement，which still has a wide influence all over the world. On the occasion of the 130th anniversary of Gramsci’s birth，theoretical circles at home and abroad have written articles to interpret Gramsci’s thoughts from multiple perspectives and to excavate the practical significance of Gramsci’s ideological heritage at multiple levels. These new viewpoints and perspectives help us to fully understand and grasp Gramsci’s thoughts. Gramsci’s ideological heritage still has practical significance for adhering to and developing socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era.
