新冠肺炎疫情的持续蔓延，加剧了美国社会撕裂，美国仓促从阿富汗撤军凸显了美国霸权的衰落，全球进一步反思新自由主义意识形态和西方民主的局限性。中国特色社会主义的巨大成功被看作对“历史终结论”的终结，中国的发展改变了世界的力量对比。国外政党和学者对资本主义和社会主义两种制度的评价发生了对社会主义更为有利的转变，这一转变表明国际共产主义运动迎来了复兴的机遇，与此同时也继续面临新的挑战。
The Covid 19 epidemic，which has lasted for two years，exacerbated the growing devision in American society. The hasty withdrawal of U.S.troops from Afghanistan underscores the decline of U.S.hegemony. The world further reflect on neoliberal ideology and the limits of Western democracy. The great success of socialism with Chinese characteristics is seen as the end of the “end of history”. China’s development has changed the world’s power balance and the assessment of both capitalist and socialist systems has shifted in favor of socialism. This shift represents an opportunity for the international communist movements to revive itself，while continuing to face new challenges.
