Year 2022 has witnessed accelerated changes in the international landscape unseen in a century. Despite facing multiple challenges such as the spillover of Ukraine crisis，the resurgence of COVID-19 pandemic，weak and anemic recovery of global economy，together with the rising of protectionism and unilateralism globally，the overall situation in Africa kept stable，although some uncertainties exists. Africa on a whole stayed in course in pushing forward integration process，and forging ahead to achieve economic recovery. Africa has become an important partner for all parties. Major global powers continued to invest more resources in Africa. Year 2022 is an important year for China-Africa relations. China and Africa successfully held the Coordinators’ Meeting on the Implementation of the Follow-up Actions of the Eighth Ministerial Conference of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation（FOCAC）via video link. The two sides are implementing the outcomes of the Eighth Ministerial Conference in a comprehensive way. Over the past year，China and Africa have deepened political mutual trust，strengthened strategic alignment and people-to-people exchanges，advanced practical cooperation，rendered each other support on issues related to core interests and major concerns，safeguarded the common interests of developing countries，and jointly upheld international equity and justice.
