In recent years，the development of the digital economy has attracted wide attention from the Italian government and business circle and is also the key support direction of the Italian National Recovery and Resilience Plan currently being implemented. The article aims to provide a whole picture of the Italian digital market，deepening the enabling technological elements，the policies implemented at the central level to overcome the post-pandemic crisis through the National Recovery and Resilience Plan，and concluding with an analysis of the ICT sector in the Piedmont Region，characterized by an industrial fabric that looks to innovation and the future，in the digital and space economy sectors.
