At present，the strategic cooperation between China and the Gulf countries is getting closer and closer. The Gulf countries are actively strengthening trade and investment cooperation with China in order to achieve economic recovery and promote economic transformation in response to the impact brought by the Covid-19 epidemic. The strategic mutual trust between China and the Gulf countries has increased，and cooperation in various fields has entered a new stage. Meanwhile，China’s cooperation with the Gulf countries is facing new challenges，because the U.S.views it as a threat. Moreover，dealing with the relationship between security and autonomous development in the Gulf is also an important test for China’s strategic cooperation with regional countries. China can explore constructing a development community with the Gulf countries to resolve the dilemma of security governance in the Gulf region and guarantee China’s energy and investment security in the region.
