2021年，哈萨克斯坦继续奉行哈首任总统、民族领袖纳扎尔巴耶夫的外交理念，执行多元平衡的外交政策，与世界主要大国——中国、俄罗斯、美国保持密切的外交往来，深化与中亚邻国的双边关系，同时在多边框架内与各方加强政治对话，协调联合行动。哈国的外交活动维护了本国的独立和主权，促进了地区的和平与发展，也在某种程度上抑制了国际局势动荡与新冠肺炎疫情波动给社会经济发展带来的风险。
In 2021 Kazakhstan continued to pursue the diplomatic concept of Nazarbayev，the first president and national leader of Kazakhstan，implement multi-balanced foreign policy，keep close foreign exchanges with the world’s major powers-China，Russia and the United States，deepen bilateral relations with Central Asian neighbors and at the same time strengthen political dialogue and coordinate joint actions with all parties within the multilateral framework. Kazakhstan’s diplomatic activities have safeguarded its independence and sovereignty，promoted regional peace and development，and，to some extent，restrained the risks to social and economic development caused by the international shocks and the COVID-19.
