Since COVID-19,the Netherlands has adopted relatively strict prevention and control measures to reduce the movement of people. At the end of March 2022,the Dutch government announced the lifting of all restrictions to guide the return of social life to normal. The current situation of immigration under the epidemic is a continuation and overlay of the historical characteristics of Dutch immigration. Due to the restrictions of epidemic prevention and control, the total number of immigrants has fluctuated briefly, but its main development direction and characteristics have not changed fundamentally.
