7世纪以前日本的政治发展进程深受中国历史运行态势的影响，具体表现在中国周秦王朝与日本国家雏形的出现、中国汉魏王朝与古代日本广域王权的形成、中国南北朝与日本大和王朝的建立以及中国隋唐王朝与日本律令制国家的建设等几组关系中。在上述历史阶段，中国在政治、经济和文化等方面对日本古代国家和传统文化的形成、发展以及政治运行发挥了支撑和架构作用。
Before the 7th century，Japan’s political development was deeply influenced by China’s historical movement，which was embodied in the relationship between the Zhou and Qin Dynasties of China and the formation of the embryonic form of Japan，the relationship between the Han and Wei dynasties of China and the formation of the imperial power in ancient Japan，the relationship between the Northern and Southern Dynasties of China and the formation of the Yamato Dynasty of Japan，and the relationship between the Sui and Tang dynasties of China and the construction of Japan’s legal system. In these historical stages，China played a supporting and structural role in the formation，development and political operation of the ancient country and traditional culture of Japan in terms of politics，economy and culture.
