In recent years，the Hungarian government has attached greater importance to the country’s comprehensive digital transformation，placing the digital economy，digital education，e-government and digital public services at the core of Hungary’s competitiveness and modernization drive. In this paper，public government，market and private strategic documents and recommendations，basic EU resource allocation documents and the latest national and EU statistical data，research and analysis are reviewed over the past decade. Using the situation analysis method，the current situation and shortcomings of Hungary’s digital economy are presented，and the development trend of Hungary’s digital economy is summarized.
