The sinicization of Marxist philosophy is a theoretical proposition and a practical proposition.As a practical proposition，in the historical practice of the Chinese revolution，Marxist philosophy has actually begun the practice of “sinicization” since it was introduced to China.As a theoretical proposition，we need to understand theoretically how Marxist philosophy has been transformed in China，which will be necessary for the further development of the sinicization process in practice.The question of how to “sinicization” is also the question of the ways and mechanisms of the sinicization of Marxist philosophy.This article explores the issue of how Marxist philosophy can be Chinese in four aspects： “sinicization” must incorporate the practical experience of Chinese revolution and construction；“sinicization” must critically inherit Chinese traditional philosophy；“sinicization” must critically absorb the rational elements of Western modern and contemporary philosophy；“sinicization” must embrace the achievements of the modern new scientific and technological revolution.Therefore，Mao Zedong once emphasized that “in the great cause of combining the universal principles of Marxism-Leninism with the concrete practice of the Chinese revolution”，we must “research the status quo”，“study history”，and “learn the universal principles of Marxism-Leninism.”，and “focus on the use of Marxism-Leninism”.
