对于社会主义的认识通常有两种方法，一种是从特征上认识社会主义，一种是从本质上认识社会主义。我们党在不断深化对社会主义认识的基础上，实现了从特征到本质的飞跃，并把社会主义本质归结为共同富裕。共同富裕包含着生产力与生产关系两个方面的特质，是社会主义条件下实现公平正义的生动体现。改革开放以来，我国在坚持按劳分配为主体的基础上，允许和鼓励资本、技术、管理等要素按贡献参与分配，调动了各方面的积极性，推动了生产力的发展。同时，也带来了收入差距拉大等一些新的问题。这要求我们依据全面建成小康社会的目标，深化分配制度改革，完善社会保障体系，加大扶贫攻坚力度，确保发展成果更多更公平地惠及全体人民。
There are usually two ways to understand socialism.One is to recognize socialism from its characteristics.One is to understand socialism in essence.On the basis of deepening our understanding of socialism，our party has made a leap from characteristics to essence，and attributed the essence of socialism to common prosperity.Common prosperity contains the characteristics of productivity and relations of production.It is a vivid manifestation of fairness and justice under socialist conditions.Since the reform and open，on the basis of insisting on distribution according to work as the main body，China has allowed and encouraged capital，technology，management and other elements to participate in distribution according to their contributions，which has mobilized the enthusiasm of all sectors and promoted the development of productive forces.At the same time，it has also brought about some new problems such as widening income gap.It requires us to basing on the goal of building a well-off society in an all-round way to deepen the reform of the distribution system，improve the social security system，intensify the poverty alleviation efforts，and ensure development gains benefit all people more and more fairly.
