一个政党长期执政，能否解决权力的异化和腐败，保持自身执政的合法性，始终是一个世界性的难题。西方资产阶级政党对此进行了积极探索，但是终未成功。中国共产党作为一个超越西方资产阶级政党，承担重大历史使命的马克思主义执政党，以敢于直面问题、勇于自我革命的精神为这个历史性难题的破解提供了中国方案。中国共产党在长期的执政实践，特别是在改革开放的伟大事业中，对通过革命性锻造来保持自身的先进性积累了诸多经验，取得了重要成果。本文试图对改革开放以来中国共产党革命性锻造的历程进行一个简要的梳理，对革命性锻造的内涵、依据、特点、意义等做出初步的解读，对新时代如何更好地推进党的革命性锻造提出了积极的措施。
