this article briefly reviews about the concept of the smart city development，the smart city construction in China and the description of the smart city which is directly related to the information technology industry，summarizes the Chinese smart city in urban development of several major problems，It also puts forward suggestions on the development of smart city from the perspectives of block chain，5G technology and social communication.
