Are the BRICS Nations Ready for a New Era？

With more than 20 percent of the global economy and over 40 percent of the world’s population，the BRICS nations，including Brazil，Russia，India，China and South Africa，have drawn much attention from the world for their large，sometimes fast-growing economies and significant influence on regional affairs，or even global affairs. Now the world is changing rapidly and unfolding itself as a new erabefore us. This article is trying to answer the following three questions. First，what defines the new era？Second，what are the implications of this new era for the BRICS nations？Thirdly，what can BRICS cooperative mechanism do in this new era？
