Abstract
Kazakhstan holds a strategic position in trade between East and West, Europe and Asia, as well as Russia and China. At the same time, the discussion on resuming the modern "Silk Road" leading to Europe, as well as the link between the document and the "Nurli Zehall" new economic policy and the integration plan of the Eurasian economic union, mean that Kazakhstan has new opportunities to use global trade as an engine of economic development. With the strengthening of multilateral strategic cooperation with the People's Republic of China (hereinafter referred to as "China"), Kazakhstan's international status will be further strengthened.
