The idea of building a community with a shared future has been increasingly accepted following and an appeal by Chinese President Xi Jinping delivered while addressing the 70th Session of the UN General Assembly on Sept 28, 2015 at the United Nations (UN) Office at Geneva. The ideas for building community with a shared future for mankind continues to be embraced internationally and has been included in various documents including UN Security Council resolutions, UN Human Rights Council resolutions, the Qingdao Declaration of the Council of Heads of Member States of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and Forum on China-Africa Cooperation Beijing Action Plan (2019-2021).If adopted by all, there is no doubt that the idea of building a community with a shared future for mankind will go a long way in bringing peace and stability in the world and lead to improvement in economic development for all. According to Yasuo Fukuda, former Japanese Prime Minister, “it is a common ideal for mankind to build a world without confl icts, one with equal development opportunities and every people in it blessed with happiness”.
