In the field of the Pacific island countries’ right to vote,there are few systematic studies in academic circles at home and abroad. Some scholars have sporadically mentioned the voting rights of island countries. For example,Oliver Hasenkamp mentioned it when studying the path and strategy of Pacific island countries and international organizations. In his opinion,the Pacific island countries are relatively indifferent when voting on issues that are not relevant to themselves.
