The Kingdom of Cambodia and the People’s Republic of China (PRC) are sharing a long-term bond of friendship and cooperation. Under the leadership of the current Royal Government of Cambodia, the kingdom has placed a heavier attention toward the relationship with China making the relation between the two countries the highest-level relationship ever. The cooperation frameworks of the two nations have been strengthened and promoted to almost all the sectors. Cambodia and China have been working closely to strengthen and develop closer political, economic, and socio-cultural cooperation and people-to-people contacts between the two peoples and the two countries. This paper is analyzing the key aspect of the deepening political cooperation between Cambodia and China.
