The paper investigates past and present cultural exchanges between Jews (and from 1948–Israelis) and Asian cultures. It then offers some ideas and thoughts about the future progress of such exchanges. By culture, this article follows portions of the definition offered by the Merriam Webster dictionary, which refers to culture as: “the customary beliefs, social forms, and material traits of a racial, religious, or social group and as a set of shared attitudes, values, goals, and practices.” Cultural exchanges refer in this paper to any ad-hoc or on-going interaction between the groups understudy in the realms of culture.
