Against the background of many tough challenges and uncertainties in future development of international trade and the global economy，service trade in international trade is counted on by a lot of international organizations，and is seen as a significant field that can bring new drivers of global economic growth and have tremendous development potentials. In service trade，cultural trade and tourism trade have always held significant positions. Culture and tourism are important carriers of a country’s foreign exchange. They constitute major contents of international service trade and play an increasingly important role in economic and social development of countries. China International Import Expo opens up new space and injects new fresh energy into sustainable development of international cultural and tourism exchange and cooperation. In the future，it is necessary to further optimize the CIIE’s functions based on a comprehensive and accurate understanding of the state’s cultural and tourism development strategies，and in light of new trends of international service trade and world-class exhibition planning and operation laws.
