In recent years，the construction of urban and rural public culture in Hubei has made great strides and achieved remarkable achievements. With the acceleration of building a well-off society in an all-round way and the new situation of increasing cultural needs of the people，public cultural services in Hubei are facing the challenge of urban-rural differentiation. How to take effective measures to reduce the service gap and realize the equalization of urban and rural public culture has become a problem that must be solved in the construction of Hubei public culture in the new era. On the basis of field research，this paper conducts a field analysis of the urban-rural public cultural differentiation in Hubei Province，and finds that the urban-rural public cultural service differentiation is mainly manifested in the equalization of equipment，services and service efficiency. Based on this，this paper puts forward the road to the development of urban and rural public culture in Hubei Province，which is led by the government，participated in all aspects，guaranteed perfection，adapted to local conditions and digitalized strategy.
