The total value of Henan’s import and export reached RMB323.51 billion in the fist 8months 2020. The growth rate of imports and exports was higher than the national average level. The downward trend of imports is still continued，and the import and export with the US dropped sharply，while the import and export with the “the belt and the road” countries increased significantly. The export of medical products increased greatly，and the imports of energy and resources products maintained a relatively high growth rate. The foreign investment continued to decline sharply，but the ecross-border e-commerce development rose against the trend，and the volume of import and export clearance increased rapidly. Looking forward to the whole year of 2021，although the external economic environment is tightening，the domestic economic development will continue to improve. More effective measures should be taken to help the steady development of Henan’s foreign trade in the fourth quarter. Fist，the six stable and six guarantees should be highlighted，the basic foreign trade market should be stabilized. Second，the strategic “double circle” strategy should be actively integrated and strengthened. Third，the four way construction should be strengthened and the “the belt and the road” construction should be deepness. Finally，the cross-border electricity supplier will drive Henan’s foreign trade to upgrade.
