2012年是河南贯彻落实国务院《指导意见》和省九次党代会精神，全面实施建设中原经济区的重要一年，也是服务业发展的重要一年。前三季度，服务业总量和增速稳步提升，投资规模继续扩大，消费品需求持续增长，服务业整体发展平稳有序，但仍存在如总量小、比重低，传统服务业比重大，局部发展失衡等旧有的突出问题。展望2013年，河南服务业虽然面临诸多挑战因素，但整体向好，在中等增长方案下预计增长9.6%。
