In 2019，Chongzuo as the frontier city in China，has maintained rapid economic growth，and two doublings were achieved ahead of schedule；The pilot free trade zone was approved to be established，the opening-up level of the border areas were once again expanded；and new breakthroughs has been achieved in innovative policies and the processing of cross-market commodities；moreover，the growth of characteristic and advantageous industries has been accelerated as well as the facilitation of port customs clearance；e-commerce has developed rapidly；and cultural tourism has made new progress；the development and open platform construction，and cross-border logistics have achieved remarkable results。On the basis of analyzing existing problems and predicting the development situation at home and abroad，this paper puts forward the major measures of Chongzuo City’s two main goals and five strategies during the period of “14th Five-Year Plan”. Based on the advantages of ports，Chongzuo will adhere to the policy of a high-level opening to the outside world，and unswervingly pushing forward the opening up-oriented development in order to promote countermeasures and suggestions for its high-quality development of open economy.
