Promoting external relations to a deeper and higher level arises from the necessity of Anhui to accelerate opening up and reform，and also constitutes a necessary path for Anhui to promote economic transformation and achieve breakthroughs in development. Currently，Anhui is implementing national strategies including “One Belt，One Road”，“Yangtze River Economic Belt” and “Yangtze River Delta Integration”，comprehensively promoting the strategy of integrative regional development，strenuously intensifying all-around cooperation such as foreign trade，science and technology，tourism，education，culture and friendship cities，with active progress and significant achievements made at all fronts. This report thoroughly analyzes the new reality and opportunities in Anhui’s external relations and cooperation，comprehensively discusses the overall situation of Anhui’s development in both domestic and foreign cooperation，summarizes and analyzes existing inadequacies，and furthermore proposes implications and suggestions to promote Anhui’s external relations to ever greater new heights.
