安徽省社会工作近年来有了长足的发展，在政府主管部门和社会各方面的共同努力下，在经历了不断的尝试和探索后，社会工作专业化取得了一定的成效，形成了“安徽模式”“合肥模式”等，为专业社会工作在全省的进一步推进奠定了坚实的基础。安徽省社会工作专业化发展主要体现在社会工作教育与培训、专业社会工作组织与机构建设及社会工作政策法规与制度建设等方面。多年来，安徽省积极开展全国及省内试点单位建设，并在养老等实务领域进行了积极的探索。未来几年，安徽省社会工作发展仍将围绕专业化、职业化、行业化和本土化深入推进，不断创新。
