Regional coordination and integrated development has become an important direction for China’s future urbanization construction，and provides an opportunity for us to shape a new type of driving force for high-quality economic development from the perspective of industrial corridor construction. As a member city of the Hefei metropolitan area，Bengbu is advancing the coordinated development with Hefei. Bengbu has obvious geographical advantages，convenient transportation conditions，and solid business foundation. How to fully develop industrial cooperation and form industrial corridors for Hefei，Huainan and Bengbu is an important issue that needs to be explored. This research comprehensively sorts out the background and basic conditions of the Hefei-Huainan-Bengbu industrial corridor construction，and systematically analyzes its development status and existing problems regarding industrial homogeneity，industrial linkage and specialized division of labor. Finally，based on current characteristics of Bengbu’s economic and social development，and from the four aspects，i.e.，jointly building strategic emerging industries and advanced manufacturing clusters，jointly building modern service industry bases，jointly building urban agricultural bases，and jointly building infrastructure support systems that meet the requirements of urbanization，the research provides targeted policy recommendations for the construction of the Hefei-Huainan-Bengbu Industrial Corridor and the realization of coordinated regional development. Meanwhile，it also provides decision-making references for Bengbu to become an advanced regional center for manufacturing and sci-tech innovation，and realize the Two Comprehensives.
