With their abundant energy reserves，Arab states are of great importance in the Belt and Road Initiative. Today，as the world’s largest energy consumer，China has highlighted energy factors in its diplomatic strategies. Enhancing China-Arab states’ energy cooperation and building an “energy silk road” is one of the significant goals of the Belt and Road Initiative.
