亚太经合组织是亚太地区覆盖面最广、代表性最强、级别最高的合作机制，也是全球最具增长活力和发展潜力的地缘经济板块。当前，亚太地区已成为全球数字经济发展最具活力和潜力的地区，在数据流量、数字技术、数字市场等方面均走在世界前列，数字经济也已成为亚太地区经济增长重要引擎。可以预计，未来，APEC成员经济体将以《2040年亚太经合组织布特拉加亚愿景》为目标和指引，进一步在数字化防疫抗疫、数字基础设施建设和互联互通、数字技能和素养提升、数字营商环境构建、数字贸易促进等方面加强合作，共同延续并深化未来20年亚太地区数字经济的繁荣健康发展。
APEC is recognized as one of the highest-level multilateral blocs and oldest forums in the Asia-Pacific region，and exerts a significant global influence. Today，the Asia-Pacific region shows greater dynamism and potential than the rest of the world for the development of the global digital economy，which leads the world in data flow，digital technology，and digital markets. The digital economy has also injected strong power into driving economic recovery and growth in the APEC region. It can be expected that in the future，APEC member economies will take the APEC Putrajaya Vision 2040 as the goal and guide，enhancing cooperation in digital infrastructure construction，digital skills and literacy improvement and digital trade promotion，and jointly continue to boost the digital economy development in APEC region in the next 20 years.
