In 2021，digital economy was unprecedentedly prosperous in ASEAN，where transaction scale reaches a record high and digital economy plays an important role in promoting economic growth and ensuring employment. E-commerce and digital financial services remain at the center stage of ASEAN’s digital economy development and are likely to continue to attract more investment. It can be expected that，driven by sound development foundations，strong development momentum and supportive policies，ASEAN enters a “digital decade” of rapid development.
