In 2020，under the organization and promotion of the Chinese society of private international law and other academic organizations，Chinese scholars have made fruitful achievements in the study of private international law. This year，scholars focused on the hot issues in China’s foreign-related civil and commercial judicial practice，and published a lot of theoretical achievements. In particular，some strong theoretical and practical points have been put forward，regarding the private international law issues covered by COVID-19，the legal issues in the construction of Guangdong，Hongkong and Macau，the long arm jurisdiction and the extraterritorial application of the law，Codification of private international law in China，the study of the Hague judgment convention. These theoretical achievements have played an indispensable role in promoting the improvement of the rule of law concerning foreign affairs in China.
