本文基于南非《星报》报道中非合作论坛北京峰会的语料,采用批评话语分析方法,考察了南非主流报刊关于中国形象和中非关系的话语建构。研究发现,不同报道来源的话语文本在主题分布、语义关系和语用比喻运用方面存在较大差异,体现出不同的话语主旨意义,反映了南非政府、民众对中非合作发展的多元认知和非洲国家的社会意识形态。解读分析《星报》报道话语对于未来中非合作论坛会议在媒体话语建构、新闻信源培育、跨文化和融媒体国际传播等方面具有一定的启示意义。
This study takes the reports in South Africa’s newspaper The Star on the Beijing Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation as the data,employing critical discourse analysis method to examine the discursive construction of South Africa mainstream media on China’s national image and China-Africa relations. It is found that the discourse texts of different reporting sources are quite different in topic distribution,semantic relations,and the use of pragmatic metaphors to construct different discourse themes and meanings,which reflects South Africa government and people’s diverse cognition of China-Africa cooperation,and social ideology in South Africa as well. The discourse construction analysis of The Star reports has certain enlightening significance for the upcoming Forum on China-Africa Cooperation in terms of media discourse construction,news source cultivation,cross-cultural communication via integrated media.
