The health and elderly care sector were officially unveiled at the 5th China International Service Trade Fair in Beijing. With the increasingly demand and its large market potential，the health and care services for the elderly will become a new economic growth point under the new normal. China is a country with a large population，with the deepening of population aging，there is a serious imbalance between supply and demand for elderly services. Under the background that China’s economy is dominated by the domestic market as well as the double circulation of domestic and international，according to the current market situation of China’s elderly service industry，this paper analyzes the problems and challenges faced by elderly care services，as well as the future development trend and direction，we hereby offer the following suggestions：develop a combination system of medical and elderly care with the characteristics of traditional Chinese medicine，accelerate the digital transformation of pension service industry and the supporting development of pension finance，and ultimately to achieve the purpose of promoting the international development of healthy elderly care.
