As a pillar industry of Hainan，the service industry has developed rapidly in recent years，and service trade has also achieved rapid growth. The construction of the free trade port provides new opportunities for Hainan to further develop service trade. In order to make the development of service trade in Hainan deeply compatible with the construction of free trade port and make Hainan a new highland of service trade，this article believes that Hainan should give full play to its advantages in resource endowment，transportation location and industrial structure，and make use of the increasing level of openness and policy support brought by the construction of the free trade port to further optimize the industrial structure，build an international tourism consumption center and develop emerging service industries simultaneously；use digital technology to promote the digital transformation of service trade and promote the cross-border flow of data；enhance the level of trade liberalization and facilitation，improve the business environment，introduce foreign capital vigorously，and further expand the openness of service industry in Hainan；adhere to equal emphasis on talent introduction and training to provide guarantee for the development of service trade；integrate into “the Belt and Road” Initiative，broaden the market base，and strengthen international cooperation.
