This report measures the international competitiveness of language services in China through the method of comprehensive index evaluation. The comparative analysis of the LS database of Europe，America，Asia-Pacific regions，and China between 2017 and 2021 shows that Europe and America are globally more competitive than Asia-Pacific regions，with the competitive index of 3.7 and 3.0 respectively. The average global competitiveness of language service industry is 2.56，close to that of China，but still has some room for further growth. Based on the conclusion，it is suggested to increase the policy orientation and open up the market outwardly，establish an industry fund in support of the industry development，implement supply-side reform and cultivate language service talents，as well as strengthen industry norms and develop industry standards.
