In 2020，the COVID-19 pandemic has significantly influenced the cultural fields of Slovakia and accelerated the transformation of the cultural industries. At the same time，the Slovak government has increased its financial support for cultural construction and improved legislation on cultural heritage protection. Slovakia attached great importance to the development of traditional folk culture and cultural education for the young. It has also actively participated in regional or multilateral cultural cooperation with other countries and externally promoted the local culture of Slovakia. With the continuous advancement of the Belt and Road initiative，China and Slovakia have carried out a series of cultural activities under the framework of China-CEEC cooperation mechanism.
