The development of the digital economy in China has made a fruitful achievement. The scale of China’s digital economy hits another new high，and there has been a remarkable practice in regional digital economy growth. Shanghai is building a highly digitalized cosmopolitan city，by innovating the industrial zone governance and exploring the data monetization and cross-border data flows. Guangdong Province is establishing the Greater Bay Area Tech-Innovation Corridor，and its scale of e-commerce business is prominent. Shenzhen is the recognized origin of the new generation of the digital industry. Zhejiang Province succeeds in industry digitalization with a sound manufacturing industry foundation. The preferential policies in Zhejiang are also strongly appealing to digital experts. Meanwhile，Hangzhou initiated many digital concepts and products. To uphold the achievement of each province and make progress together，this chapter analyses the experience of the development of the digital economy in some provinces. It is a good reference to build up the strength，quality，and size of Beijing’s digital economy，and to become a global digital economy benchmark city.
