Recently，although the U.S. Pacific Island Policy has undergone a transformation and adjustment from “security interests” as the core goal in Trump’s administration to “reshaping regional influence” as the primary task in the Biden administration’s，its policy logic and tradition of always safeguarding the U.S. hegemony in the Pacific island region have not changed. Keeping abreast of the changing trends and logic of the U.S. Pacific Island Policy is helpful to further understanding the U.S. Asia Strategy from a broader vision.
