In order to preserve and enhance the existing natural heritage present，and further enable every citizen to benefit from it，Barcelona has drawn up a 30-year green development plan focusing on green infrastructure and biodiversity. The plan shows the reasons，connotation and values of building green infrastructure and maintaining biodiversity，analyzes the current progress of Barcelona in this regard，and points out Barcelona’s goals，strategic lines and actions. This plan is a reference for China’s metropolis to improve the breadth and depth of green development.
