2020年在新冠肺炎疫情肆虐全球的背景下，中国与东盟守望相助、合作抗疫，双边关系平稳发展、不断深化。双边贸易发展迅速，东盟一跃成为中国最大的贸易伙伴；RCEP成功签署，双方经济关系必将进一步密切。进入2021年，尽管国际形势依旧复杂多变，新冠肺炎疫情在东盟国家出现反复，但是在双方的共同努力下，必将克服困难，在构建更加紧密的中国-东盟命运共同体上取得新的进展。
In 2020，under the background of COVID-19，China and ASEAN have kept cooperation to fight against the pandemic，and the bilateral relations have developed steadily and further deepened. With the rapid development of bilateral trade business，ASEAN has become the first largest trade partner of China，and as the successful signing of RCEP，the economic relations between China and ASEAN will be surely further strengthen. In 2021，although the international situation is still complex and changeable，and the COVID-19 has repeatedly appeared in ASEAN member countries，with the joint efforts of China and ASEAN，it will get new achievements to build a closer China-ASEAN community with a shared future.
