Mexico’s digital economy is one of the leaders in Latin America and occupies an important position in the global arena. This article aims to provide a comprehensive introduction to the present and future of Mexico’s digital economy，first describing the overview of the country’s digital economy development，with the focus on the current situation of ICT industry，e-commerce and technology finance，then analyzing the global competitiveness of the country’s digital economy，and finally exploring the shortcomings of its digital economy and making prospects for the development trend. Overall，Mexico’s digital economy is large and fast-growing. Although there are problems in policy planning，talent，technology and regional balance，and international competitiveness needs to be improved，it has a bright future with a broad market as well as a good foundation，and is expected to become the motor of the country’s economy.
