The research on the classification and treatment of rural domestic waste started late in China，and there are not many deep research results. Along with the deepening of reform and rapid economic development，the problems caused by the non-standardized treatment of rural domestic waste are frequent，and even some areas have caused different degrees of environmental degradation，affecting the production and life of farmers and the normal development of agriculture，so it is also more worthy of attention and research. This paper points out the problems and causes in the process of promoting rural household waste classification and treatment in Qingshan Town of Yizheng City at the present stage by collecting relevant information，field visits and questionnaire surveys，and in response to its actual situation，puts forward corresponding countermeasures and suggestions in four aspects，such as laws and regulations，responsibility mechanism，financial support and publicity and education，these countermeasures are of certain guiding significance to the government of Qingshan Town in promoting the process of rural household waste classification and treatment. At the same time，it can provide some reference help for the rural domestic waste classification and treatment work in other areas in the central section area of Jiangsu Province.
