澳门仲裁业和调解业起步较晚，目前法律制度的完整性尚可，但普及度不够。实践中，仲裁机构等整体效益低下，情况不甚理想。但是，适逢国家推行“粤港澳大湾区”发展规划和“一带一路”倡议，澳门凭借自由港、国际化等优势，若能抓住机遇，有效利用天时地利，澳门仲裁业和调解业必将迎来一个历史性的发展阶段。
Arbitration and mediation began much later in Macau. While the existing legal framework is relatively sophisticated，dissemination is less than satisfactory. In practice，the overall efficiency of arbitration bodies is low and unsatisfactory. Coinciding with the development planning of the Greater Bay Area and the Belt and Road initiative，Macau can take advantage of its free port and internationalisation to develop arbitration and mediation onto a higher level.
