2020年,世界各国深受新冠肺炎疫情影响,马来西亚非物质文化遗产保护工作也面临考验。为防控疫情,马来西亚政府出台”行动管制令“,大型聚集活动无法开展。在此形势下,非遗保护部门积极创新,充分利用互联网和社交平台的优势,以线上代替线下,以小型代替大型,以电商平台代替传统市场,开展相关宣传、保护及促销活动。与中国联合申报的送王船以及与印度尼西亚联合申报的班顿均被列入《人类非物质文化遗产代表作名录》,为疫情阴霾笼罩下的非遗保护工作带来星光。
In 2020,the whole world was deeply affected by COVID-19 pandemic,and the protecting work of Malaysia’s intangible cultural heritage was also facing challenges. In order to curb the pandemic,the Malaysian government issued a Movement Control Order under which mass-gathering activities could not be carried out. In this situation,the intangible cultural heritage protection department actively was innovated totake advantages of the Internet and social-media platforms. By replacing offline activities with online activities,large gathering with small gathering,and traditional markets with e-commerce platforms,the department carried out its duty of publicizing,protecting and sales-promoting activities. The Wangkang/Ong Chun,which isjointlydeclared with China and Bandon,which is jointly declared with Indonesia,were successfully inscribed on the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. The success bringslight to the protecting work of intangible cultural heritage of Malaysia under the misery of the pandemic.
