2020年，新冠肺炎疫情席卷全球，缅甸文化在其国家防疫政策及国家文化中央委员会的指导框架下稳定发展。缅甸政府对内强调传统文化研究与传承，巩固物质文化遗产保护成果，积极推进非物质文化遗产保护及相关申遗工作，加强对网络文化资源的建设、宣传与发展，注重丰富国民的艺术文化生活，尤其重视青少年群体的文化素质培养。在对外文化交流中，缅甸重视与中国及东盟各国联系，积极与日、韩等发达国家合作。
COVID-19 has been a blow for the whole world. Myanmar culture develops steadily under the guidance of the National Epidemic Prevention and the National Culture Central Committee. In the year of 2020，the Myanmar government internally emphasized the research and inheritance of traditional culture，consolidated the achievements of tangible cultural heritage protection，actively promoted the protection of intangible cultural heritage and application for the List of World Heritage，strengthened the construction，promotion and development of online cultural resources，and focused on enriching the national culture and art. A special attention has been paid to the cultivation of the cultural quality of the youth group. In addition，Myanmar government attached great importance to ties with China and ASEAN countries，and actively cooperated with developed countries such as Japan and South Korea in cultural exchanges.
