2020年新冠肺炎疫情冲击了印度尼西亚的教育、文化、体育活动和旅游业。印度尼西亚政府采取灵活有效的措施，包括加大对网络建设的投入，积极推动文化数字化建设，对外积极宣传印度尼西亚特色文化，对内坚持传统文化传承，积极推进非物质文化遗产保护工作，积极参与新冠肺炎疫苗研发工作，有效降低疫情对文化活动造成的负面影响。2020年是中印尼建交70周年，双方采取多种灵活形式举办系列纪念活动，彰显中印尼双方文化自信。
2020 is the year for the global fight against the Covid-19. China and Indonesia have helped each other in the fight against the pandemic and cooperated in the development of COVID-19 vaccine，which was unanimously praised by the people of both countries. While struggling to fight the pandemic，the Indonesian government has not forgotten to continue its efforts to improve national cohesion and enhance national cultural self-confidence by organizing various cultural activities. 2020 is the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between P.R.China and Republic of Indonesia. Under the pandemic，cultural exchanges between China and Indonesia still took place，which reflects the cultural confidence of both sides.
