In 2021，due to the tight supply of the coal market and the continued high price operation，the overall supply and demand of coal will tighten. Henan will take multiple measures and make concerted efforts to promote stable production，ensure supply，strengthen the foundation，and promote the transformation of the coal industry，achieving a safe and stable supply of coal in the province and the overall stable operation of the market. In 2022，the internal and external environment for the development of the coal industry will remain complex and severe. Under the guidance of the carbon peak and carbon neutral targets，orderly reduction and substitution，clean and efficient utilization will continue to be the main tone of coal development. Preliminary judgment is that as the country’s “dual control” efforts are strengthened and the “two high” industry production capacity is strictly controlled，the province’s coal consumption demand will decline. Driven by the accelerated release of high-quality coal production capacity，the province’s total coal production has steadily rebounded. It is expected that the tight coal supply situation will be significantly eased. Henan should be insisted on the direction of green low carbon，on the premise of safe and reliable supply，pushing coal consumption reduction，actively push forward coal clean and efficient utilization，vigorously promote the development of coal industry transformation to mention quality，give full play to the coal based energy out security role，for Henan province to realize the “two guarantees” to provide quality and reliable energy support.
