家族政治是印度政治生态的重要特征，且在印度民主政治的发展过程中非但没有减弱，反而呈现跨党派、跨地域、跨群体的特点。印度的家族政治现象与其国内的政党制度、选举制度以及政治文化密切相关，已然成为印度的政治基因。虽然家族政治的合法性面临不少质疑，但只要印度的政治生态系统不发生根本性变化，家族政治就不会消失。对于印度而言，家族政治既是对民主政治的背离，给印度政治生态的良性发展造成一定消极影响，也有其必然性，并在某种程度上维系了印度民主政治的稳定。
Clan politics is an important feature of Indian political ecology.In the development process of Indian democratic politics，instead of weakening，clan politics becomes a cross-party，cross-region and cross-group phenomenon.Clan politics，which has become the political gene of India，is closely related toIndia's political party system，electoral system and political culture.Although the legitimacy of clan politics faces many questions，it will not disappear as long as India's political ecosystem does not change fundamentally.For India，clan politics is a deviation from democratic politics and has certain negative impacts on the benign development of Indian political ecology.Nevertheless，it is also inevitable and，to some extent，has maintained the stability of Indian democratic politics.
