As the increasingly deepening of the political transition in Myanmar，the political study on Myanmar has been prosperous.Byanalyzing the related achievements in the field，we could easily find that the politics of Myanmar has been tied with a special discourse system of western politics，and been re-constructed and imagined，which has led to lots of prejudices and misreading.Specifically，the western discourse system in Myanmar political studies mainly consists of the following three aspects：emphasis of the natural legitimacy of democracy in the politics of Myanmar，moral judgment to the politics of Myanmar and the overuses of patronage politic theories.A reasonable approach to transcend the western discourse in Myanmar political studies calls to construct a local discourse system of Myanmar politics studies，pay more attention to the daily politics of the Myanmar people，emphasizing interdisciplinary regional studies and adopting a comparative political perspective.
