Since modern times，Chinese scholars have made a very helpful exploration of the history of Goryeo Dynasty by addressing many related issues involving the kingdom’s diplomacy，politics，society，economy，culture and so on. Among them，there are quite a few valuable and enlightening works，which lay the foundation for future research. Despite this，there are still some shortcomings in the existing studies. The following is some suggestions for correcting them. First of all，from now on，there should be new research approaches adopted and the traditional approach of the history of international relations shouldn’t be excessively emphasized any longer. Secondly，research topics should be refined and the discussions revolving around them should be deepened. Lastly，there should be more academic exchanges conducted，since these activities are of great significance to broaden Chinese scholars’ international vision.
